These are two different things, and you should know which one you need:

A classic application photo is for your CV. Chest up, neutral background, professional gaze. You need this when applying for a position where the hiring manager expects a photo.

A modern headshot is for everything else: LinkedIn, your website, the team page, speaker profiles, press releases. More relaxed, more natural, more personality.

My tip: do both at once. In 30 minutes we'll have both versions — formal and relaxed. Most clients choose exactly this package.

What a Session Looks Like

You come to the studio (or we meet outdoors at a nice spot in Vienna), and first we just talk. I want to know what you need the photos for, what kind of person you are, whether you want to come across as serious or approachable.

Then we start. I'll tell you where to look, how to turn your shoulders, what to do with your hands. But no stiff poses — we're looking for the moment where you look natural and professional at the same time. You'll recognise it yourself when you see it.

After 20-45 minutes, we're done. You see the images right on the display and choose your favourites. Within 48 hours, you have the fully edited photos via download.

Practical Tips Before You Come

Clothing: Solid colours, muted tones, timeless. No wild patterns, no large logos. Bring 2-3 options — we'll decide together.Glasses: If you wear glasses in daily life, wear them at the shoot. Just make sure the lenses are clean and not tinted.Studio or outdoor? Studio gives you a controlled background and professional lighting. Outdoor looks more relaxed and modern.
